- Hi hi, Jesa Jean here! its great to be here in this moment at this time to share a little bit about me with you :) I was born in Caldwell Idaho on September 27th 1987 to my father Edward and mother Marie. I have two musically talented siblings, sister Christy Lynn, and Jathan Edward who are my best friends and inspiration.
My family and I moved around alot within the northwest, it was a true blessing moving often, cause I was exposed to many different ways of life, experiencing a variety of people, morals, culture and of course music. I feel very fortunate to have experienced everything I have in my life. Loyality and family are the most important things to me. I grew up in a modest home, we all worked hard for what we wanted. Most of the time we just worked hard for the necessities in life :)
When I was five years old I use to set my stuffed animals and toys as if they were sitting in an arena, I would stack books up high, so I could perform on my book stage lol! This is when my mother and I realized that performing music was my destiny. My mother started teaching my sister, brother and I about music, songwriting and how to play different instruments. Any oppurtunity I would get in school or in the community to perform, sing, dance or act I would take advantage of it and I loved it! As time went on I was faced with a big decision, to choose college and earn a degree that would guarantee me a decent living, or take the chance and pursue my real purpose! I chose education.
Through years of schooling and Interning, and following in my mothers, grandmothers, aunts and great grand mothers footsteps to become a nurse, i realilized this was not me.It ate me alive knowing that my heart was somewhere else and my time should be spent doing what the lord intended me to do…. Create and perform songs that would bring love, joy and happiness to everyones heart.. through my music.
In Sept. 2011 I was introduced to SONY ATV / GENESIS ENTERTAINMENT Songwriter and Producer GENE EVARO. After auditioning for Gene at his home Studio, he signed me to GNS ENTERTAINMENT. We spent the rest of the year writing and recording the first 4 songs for my new album..The first song Southern Rose is featured on my brand new music video, CHECK IT OUT..!!!! Currently we are in the studio writing songs to complete my new Album. This spring i intend to move to Nashville Tennesee where i can embrace the country music culture and spread my wings and soar!
