Music Genre(s):
17 year old Australian, singer/songwriter, Maddi Rose just finished touring the US this January, performing at the popular NYC venue, The Bitter End, and her name was in lights at the famous Whiskey A Go Go in Hollywood, CA. . Born in Tasmania but now a Gold Coast native, Maddi’s music is alternative with a pop/rock slant. Maddi has performed at many well known Australian festivals and has a very sincere fan-base, not to mention that killer Aussie accent, which we all love here in the states! She has supported many touring artists and recorded at The Grove Studios in Sydney. She received buzz with a paid 7 week songwriting/recording stint in Los Angeles featuring some of the world’s best studio musicians and a Grammy award winning engineer. Maddi loves many types of musical styles but her favorite element is live performance and connecting with the crowd. She just released her debut single “Anything But Okay” and followed it with a debut video which is almost at 50,000 views on YouTube. To learn more about Maddi watch her personal video blogs on YouTube or follow her on Twitter!

Over the Easter weekend, I drove (when I say I, I mean my dad drove my family & my band drove…

Icebreakers & days off.

*DISCLAIMER* I did not create this icebreaker. My friend showed it to me… (Thanks Soph!! ;P)

Me: “How much does a polar bear weigh?”

Person: “I don’t know.”

Me: “Enough to break the ice. Hi I’m Maddi.”

I’ve come up with a way to start this blog; an icebreaker!! I love a good corny  icebreaker! (if you have any good ones, send them to me!! ;P) Sure, it’s probably not the easiest thing to segue out of to begin a new topic, but we’ll have to…
