Hi all. I wanted to say that I am beyond Honored and super stoked that 2 of my songs have been Nominated in the 2013 Indie Music Channel Songwriters Awards. "American Honey", is a song I wrote on my couch to impress a famous producer my band at the time, was trying to work with. I wanted something extremely catchy and radio friendly. Although I didn't really care for the song when I wrote it, the response got from fans was incredible and have since learned to love the song! Then there is "Train Wreck".  A song about losing someone you love. Its a very relate-able song to most people, but for me, it means more. Since I was a kid, I knew I wanted to be a Rock Star and as I grow older, I seem to want it more. However, trying to be a husband and Rock Star are not always compatible. I had to make a choice. I chose to dedicate every once of passion I had to Music. Thats where the "losing someone you love" comes in. Sometimes..you just cant have both! While being Nominated is amazing and a gift in itself.. Winning would be validation that all these years of blood, sweat and alot of tears has paid off. We shall see this Sat!!!
