Bio:: Artist Bio Michael Seth Smith Born:1948 El Centro CA. Bands Associated : Wailers LTD, California Boys, Cherokee Badlands, The Badlands Band Instruments: Guitar, piano, Keyboards, Any thing but Drums ( I usually have a machine for that) I started writing years ago , But i didn't have my first copyright until 2009, with my first album In These Times. In 2010 I revived my second copyright for my next album to be released Between a Rock and Another Hard Place In 2010. I'm currently working on my third album, and hope to have it completed by the end of the year I hope to remain as independent as I can by supporting my own publishing, and helping other independent music artist as much as I can. More About Michael Seth Smith I started playing guitar at the age of 12 or vary close to 13. I had this friend who played guitar and it made the blisters and the callases on the fingers seem more bariable. I had sent off for a book that said that I could learn to play in 7 days or money back. I thank it cost a whole five dollars, but they still have my 5 bucks. I had always thought that I would find myself playing in a band of some sort, but with all the distriactions that life has to bring, it just seemed like it wasn't going to happen. I played for friends and family, wife and sons, Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. So that leeds me to now - today, you will see me as sort of a one man band., but more over, you will see me as a singer/ song writer and performing my songs, with a few covers that I liketo do.
