Singer and songwriter John Carpino delivers with an impressive blend of rock, roots, rhythm and truth. John was born and raised in Western Montana. He then moved to Colorado at the age of 18 where he began performing live in clubs and coffee houses as a solo/acoustic act. He also studied music at Fort Lewis College in Durango, earning a Bachelors degree in music. Though his talents are varied, John's first love is the art of songwriting. Over the years he has compiled a catalog of songs which is both prolific, diverse and impressive. He cites his early songwriting influences as CSNY, Jackson Browne, Bob Dylan, Steve Earle, Lennon and McCartney and "many others... too many to mention". John's performances are always well received as he is the most in-demand performer in his area, being voted "Best Entertainer" by the locals for 14 consecutive years! John has that special ability of creating and maintaining a mutual sense of enjoyment between audience and performer. In 2005, Arizona artist Gary Eubanks released one of John's songs - "Rock and Roll Highway" - which reached the #1 position nationally on the independent charts.
