Bio:: Ferrais "The artist with no fixed identity ' Can Can Music Publishing editions (Bologna) www.cancanmp.com Ferrais is an artist for whom the definition of a songwriter more in the sense 'of the word is inappropriate. From an early age to his own curiosity to peer through the rooms of the soul, the labyrinthine world of feelings and relationships with the roots of existence led him to write poems (many of them lost) in a visceral and obsessive to the meeting / clash with the guitar, "instrument" and "vehicle" that incite the synthesis and in a different way to explore the enigmatic nature of reality. His artistic eye only in the beginning was inspired by a musical source of authorial Italian cut but now its "navigation" is directed toward the exploration of sound and musical territories outside of Italy: optical prism of an artistic vision, boundless and internationally. This natural tendency, instinctive way of land on the jagged coastline of art represents the wealth of his style: a hug between past, present and future, unpredictable and ever and ever evolving. The decision not to violently artistic feel represented by the musicians who live in one another, the reclude for a period of one kind of insulation to redesign the place, all in solo at the expense of the complexity of the arrangement. The painful realization (as the least representative of his music) a demo containing three songs titled "It bears the Tide" it occupies in the delivery of this project. In a short time received the first responses and proposals from labels and record companies who appreciate his way of composing out of the scheme between dualistic and reductive and the mainstream music world alternative indi-Italian and he decides to sign on the label Aveit Brescia. Start and continue so 'live path with the organization of events that led him to play in Piazza Duomo in Brescia, in the famous venue, the Bolognese Carousel' for the Night Office and then a series of interviews and live all sought and promoted by itself or in several cases brought by the industry (radio, TV) that contact him: an exhausting work torn between his artistic and management aspect. The desire to complete the effort and sacrifice art (since his main job as a secretary in a dental surgery led him to having to work almost 10 hours a day) led him to a period of tremendous stress and consequent isolation alcohol accompanying nell'insostenibile split of its identity. Hence the definition given by a conductor and a radio webmagazine: "The ethereal sound of the artist without a fixed identity" to emphasize the reality of the different facets of his music with his voice, flow forming a sound and an original and distinctive style, a sort of "trademark". The live appearance while continues between Rock Festival 2008 in Santa Viola - Azzago (Vr) where he received a lot of success and praise while performing alone compared to the bands. Sanremo Rock 2008 Concert for the People of Art Modena leads him to play at the Teatro dei Colli in Siena and later in other venues and events center of Northern Italy (Cervia Music Festival, Piazza Duomo, in showcases local TV / radio). After the fantastic encounter with a professional pianist with whom he decides to bring their songs in acoustic and after touching the bottom with alcoholism, the first of November 2010 decided to embark on a path to healing and quit for good. This difficult decision and the desire not to succumb to that fate, in an almost magical open unexpected doors: it is contacted by General Manager Ferrais Guido De Gaetano Bologna CancanMusicpublishing the record company who falls in love his songs and decided to invest up to artistically him. From that meeting is now in place the professional production of the album from enigmatic title "The center of the distances" The album will contain '10 tracks and will bring to light so marked the versatility and the poetics of music Ferrais, an artist capable of crossing constrictors and renew the perimeters of musical genres, to join the gap between mainstream and alternative music. The style of Ferrais brings a breath of freshness and novelty 'in the Italian rock scene, offering sounds' very special and original. The care and attention to detail come from listening to groups or artists like Deus, The Cure, Joy Division, Battiato, Yo La Tengo, Mum, David Sylvian, De Andrè, and many other area bands as Turkey as Orient Exspression, Merchants Dede . In short, people who experience even in classical antiquity: "Nick Drake was also an artist style very well maintained while using only guitar and voice, so do not count the thousands of sounds available but it is only something like a spiritual dimension. I admire those who possess this faculty in a metal band or other kinds of noise or even more 'heavy. " The record is a patchwork of songs, each connected to another even in its own identity, we will dream pop songs like "The Missing Piece," "My Code" and "Dragonfly", others more 'dark and elegantly aggressive in the message such as " The center distance "and" The best expression, "the ethereal ballad" It bears the tide "and" air hunger "turns rock" The Intersection "and" The Sphinx "riding to music as" Introspecting song. " Album music and words are the same, neither side has more 'important than another. The prospect is indeed to deconstruct terms such as singer-songwriter, one man band, songwriter ol 'being forced into a certain genre and embrace the many possibilities of expression inherent in the inspiration of Ferrais musical style that can easily be appreciated, understood, accepted by a foreign audience. Not by chance have demo versions have been chosen by the circuit of New York JangoAirplay web radios, radio broadcast by Brazil (Radioeversonpalladini fm), selected from the ReverbNation website for auditions for film soundtracks, spots, films and most recently by Christopher Ewing Host of " The Radio Cafe ReverbNation Indie Music Countdown "in Detroit the edge of the disc which is scheduled for an interview promoting the album. Meanwhile, work continues live in clubs and events in Italy: report from one of the most 'important the 21 to 22 May RadioTourFestival and the concert on July 9 at the Sports Hall at the University of Pisa, where the Cus will set up a' for the entire space and where there will be CancanMusicpublishing RadioBruno Issuer ABN television video. "Speaking of what it means to miss the mark," says an Eastern and I think that conclude with this sentence, represents the perfect and essential to express the artistic dimension of Ferrais, the artist without a fixed identity.
