William Bell is a former Stax Records recording artist and songwriter, best know for his blues classic "Born Under A Bad Sign". Donnie McCormick was drummer and vocalist for the legendary blues band, "Eric Quincy Tate". EQT were released on Atlantic Records, Capricorn Records, GRC Records, and on my label, Emphasis Records. In 2007, I engineered and produced the band's last live recording at Northside Tavern in Atlanta, Georgia. The show was the band's 37th year reunion. Since, Donnie and EQT guitarist Wayne "Bear" Sauls have passed away.
