Black Jet Radio was born with the release of a 45rpm demo recorded by Brian Jenkins of The Sacred Broncos and Danisha Jenkins on a winter weekend in December. Tracks "Dead Wine" and "Ugly" brought to mind a Blondie meets the New York Dolls comparison with a mix of Cabaret inspired vocals, fuzz guitars, pulsing drums, driving bass, and a touch of Lowry organ. Shortly after, the band recruited Shelby Siefring of Thunderhawk to work the drums and Danielle Teagarden on bass, guitar, and vocals rounding out the lineup of Brian on guitar and bass and Danisha on lead vocals. With a full length release set for early May, look for Black Jet Radio this summer as they embark on a three month tour.
