Across the Dark Forest is comprised of Chicago natives Ryan Jensen, Julianna Orellana, Jenny Smiechowski, and Amanda Donofrio. They blend electronic beats with acoustic guitar and ethereal vocals. They are a relatively new band, formed in 2010, with influences that cross a wide-range of genres including folk, trip-hop, dream pop, and electronica. They are currently self-recording an album to be released in fall of 2011.
