Bio:: Born Lafonzo Benjamin, Lord Black is an inspiring artist out of the notorious Queensbridge Houses, 1/3 of the group Crhyme Fam ... which includes Kaos and other band member Kashdro. After an assortment of mixtapes and being featured on Nas's Q.B. finest album he and other band members signed with In Ya Ear recordings which soon became In Ya Ear Records. With more mixtapes to follow...such as The Sample...Q.B.New Blood hosted by Prodigy of Mobb Deep etc.. The group soon released their debut E.P. which was called the E.P. XL (available on itunes). With an album in the making shortly after the E.P. was released band members quickly fell victim to the streets with arrest that would quickly put the groups career on hold. Determined to take his future in his own hands Lord Black left In Ya Ear Records on good terms to study other fields such as engineering, producing, and videography. Learning such trades helped him release two more mixtapes ... Open Casket ... Autopsy both can be found on Datpiff.com for a free download also a host of videos that you can see on his youtube channel Lordblack1. Still maintaing a balance with his music, the man behind the scenes once again steps into the light to claim his spot amongst the best. With his first solo project on the way he releases his new single "I Maintain" featuring and produced by Emajor.
