- Born in Chicago, Il and raised in the music industry it was natural for me to start singing at an early age. My mother is Jeanne Carroll, a well known jazz singer who has supported me from the start. I've recorded two Cd's with myself as the main artist and am on over eight other compilation Cd's. Most of these recorded with the Delmark label. I've worked with many great Chicago blues musicians from Carey Bell and son Lurrie Bell to Johnny B. Moore, Sugar Blue, Katherine Davis, Rudy Rotta, Alvin Lee, Willie Kent, Bonnie Lee, Melvin Taylor and the list goes on. In 1998 I moved to Germany where I have been working and recording with different bands. Some I have created, some I have joined as a special guest and become part of and so on. Just this month I published my own Cd of some original tracks I wrote and did this alone, not with a label or publisher/mgmt.
