Bio:: chewing gun was formed in 2005 by takis and giannis with their long time friend vaggelis on drums.they begun rehearsing original songs as a power trio.in 2006 vaggelis left the band. enter tasos, a childhood friend of takis. tasos' technical and quite unusual style took the few original jams to another level.during the same year tasos brought in giorgos who played guitar in another band tasos was in at the time, the short lived jam band "artificial honey".with a solid line up of 4, chewing played live in the athens club circuit while working on original songs. in the beginning of 2009 they rent a space, set up a do it yourself version of a studio and began recording their debut album.in 2010 another old fiend of takis and tasos, kimon, is recruited to add some textures in the studio tracks and becomes a full time member.in january of 2011, chewing gun debut album titled "industrial chewing machine" is out and the band is about to play it live along with new songs from the next album.see you out there
