Bio:
Nevsky Prospekt are a three piece band originating in Perth, Western Australia. They formed in June 2010, and consist of singer/songwriter Stuart Mckay, bass player Haydn "Ronnie" Bishop and drummer Pat Burke. The core of the bands music derives from singer/songwriter Stuart whose musical influences pave the way for the bands unique sound. Their sound is, simply put, different; however elements of artists ranging from Jeff Buckley to System of a Down can be heard in the razor-sharp lyrics and clever melodies. The band is influenced by a vast range of artists; from Alice in Chains to Frank Zappa; yet ultimately come into a genre of their own.
