- Critical Assembly was founded in 2006. After a few member changes the final lineup was formed in June 2010. With a solid lineup and a heavy dose of shows CA set out to bring their music across Texas to those who enjoy metal with a dash of southerness and melodic vocals. In October 2010 CA entered the studio at The Music Lab in Austin,Tx. Producer Tim Gerron was brought on board to help capture and direct their 2011 album titled "The Indifference of Good Men. The album was sent off to Masterdisk in New York to be mastered by the legendary Roger Lian who has worked with some of the top industry players. 2011 is off to a busy start with shows booked across Texas and an album release in the works. CA will be in the Austin area during SXSW with a few shows booked and will be visiting a city near you soon. If you enjoy good old and new fashioned metal then come see us live and we wont let you down.
