Bio:: Q-Nice was born Quandrae Dominic Gentle in Portland, Oregon on November 13th 1987. The young R&B singer/ Rapper/Song writer got his name from friends that call him “Q’’ because his name is hard to pronounce and the “Nice” came from people saying his style was nice. Q-Nice spent his child years down south in Oklahoma with his mother but returned to Portland, Oregon to live with his father his teen years and up to this day. Q-Nice was never the one to fall under the category of being like the rest. He always made sure he was different, things like by the way he dressed. He would take normal clothing and customized them to make them look totally different with a Q-Nice swag added to them. He has always been into music since a young child. As a kid he would perform Songs to his friends and family by artist that inspired him such as Michael Jackson, Jodeci, Usher and that’s just to name a few. He grew up in a split parent house hold so he switched schools a lot, but every school he went to he fit in just right. When it came to school it meant business to him. He was a very focus kid that stayed away from trouble even though the streets were calling him. Q-Nice is a humble person and has a real passion for music; He is currently working on his solo album “Step into the Light” and is doing a Mix-tape with other local artist featured on it. His other passion is cars which he is currently in college getting his certificate to be an auto mechanic and one day hopes to open his own auto mechanic shop of his own. His goal is to work hard on his music and see how far it can take him.
