- Ata Ghost rose from the ashes of Busket during the summer of 2009. Over the summer, they began bringing on guest vocalists for songs in their sets, one of which was a long time friend, Mychal Sargent. The songs Mychal played with the band were incredibly, and undeniably brilliant, and would be the first taste of what would become Ata Ghost. Damian, Ben and Sam stopped playing under the Busket moniker and the foursome committed to pushing the band forward as Ata Ghost. The band quickly put out an album’s worth of material and went into the studio in December 2009, finishing the record in April. The band had overwhelming support from their friends, which led to having a website, numerous photos, videos, and a music video. The band is constantly writing songs and hoping to be back in the studio before the end of the year.
