CVC is Matt Oram and James Page and has been in existence since early 2010. Forming out of the ashes of previous band Cars In Walls (Irish backwater-radio single of the year 2009!!!), we’re fuelled by a desire to make better music than we have to suffer at every disappointing gig, a well-founded hatred for 90% of the population and a burning need to escape. The music is what it is; a rough smoothie of our favourite things (…Trail of Dead, ¡Forward, Russia!, Eels, M.I.A., Bat For Lashes etc. etc.) vaguely shaped into heavy/soft, electronic/organic beat-driven weirdpop.
