La'Terrance Cole grew up singing in the family group called The Bracey Boy. His early memories of music were fueled by soulful greats like Marcus R. Cole, Frankie Cole Jr., The Winans, Clark Sister's, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Commissioned, Donny Hathaway, Rance Allen, Stevie Wonder among a select few.
