The band’s repertoire includes bluegrass standards, folk rock and their own arrangements of both well-known and re-discovered classics — from Bill Monroe and other blue grass legends to such diverse songwriters as the Beatles, Cole Porter, Happy & Artie Traum — to name only a few. The band also incorporates original works by song-writing members. The Soggy Basement Boys play their instruments – guitars, upright bass, banjo, mandolin – with a high-energy style, blending their own arrangements and vocal harmonies into a captivating performance. The Soggy Basement Boys are happiest when their audience keeps the beat with their feet and has as much fun as the band.
