- There isn't long undiscovered history… The story is simple. Rhyming was something Ace did when he was sitting around goofin’ and just having fun, never giving much thought to doing this for real. But he kept at it. Putting words and thoughts together in a rap context started to feel natural. But then his life took a turn. Things that once were good were not anymore. People that were once there are not there anymore. Dreams that he thought would come to be did not happen. As a means to deal with his frustrations, he began to spit. He began to find his voice. In impromptu cyphers he held his own, even raised a few eyebrows. Now, he started thinking, "maybe I can do this for real." Eighteen months and several recorded track later, Ace of Spades is here. Musically influenced by everything from Motown to Linkin Park, Ace brings old school vibe with a next gen swagger. He is sometimes dark, sometimes whimsical, but always real. "All I want to do is make music. I hope people feel it."
