Louisiana native, Keith Jeanlewis (aka) Hellraiza, born on June 3, 1984, is a very talented independent artist and music producer. He says, being born and raised in the South, pursuing a musical career can be a struggle for artists, but not impossible. It takes time, dedication, patience, and of course quality music. Keith began doing music at age ten-- free styling, beating on buckets, and memorizing lyrics from various artists such as: Bone, Mystikal, DMX, 2Pac, and others. By the time he made twelve, he realized that if he could memorize other artists' music, he could do the same for himself, and thus was the start of writing. By the age thirteen, he began freestyle battling and gained recognition in school and throughout the small town he lived in. His passion for music grew even deeper when he joined the middle school band. He moved to a different town after being a bit of a trouble-maker, and connected with some new artists in the area. They each had a little in common, so they formed a group called ‘The Boyz in Blue’, which included rappers, singers, producers, and engineers. Before long, the group had a buzz around town, and became so hot that it caused issues with other groups in the area. They decided to do a ‘diss’ song titled, "Let’s Go to War", for a rival group which caught the attention of many. The two groups were invited to do a local show where The Boyz in Blue took the stage to personally deliver the harsh lyrics, and from that point the beef was squashed. Today Hellraiza is still pursuing his music career while performing at clubs and venues in Texas and Louisiana. He has also managed to start an independent label named Hitman Entertainment, which currently includes his wife and himself. Being successful in the industry has always been a dream of Hellraiza’s and he will not stop until he’s achieved it and more. Be on the lookout for this artist, because ‘Hellraiza is coming soon’!
