Bio:
Kaylyn Lewis was born on October 9th, 1998 and always felt she had a purpose to become a singer one day. As a little girl she would sing around the house and started to sing at restaurants along with writing her own songs as soon as she knew how to read and write. When she was only 7 years old she sang "Smile" by Nat King Cole on the NBC morning show. She always sang in the school choir since she joined in the first grade. At the age of 11, shepssed the audition to sing in the Naples Philharmonic Youth Choral and once she started middle school she began to sing the national anthem for different games and school events. This continued throughout high schoo. In 2015 when she was 16 years old she was chosen to sing for the Boston Red Sox seasonal baseball game in front of thousands of people. She started recording her original songs in the studio throughout her freshman year in high school and would go to do so at least three days a week after she got done with basketball or track practice. With her busy schedule with school and sports she always managed to stay committed to her passion for music. She performed at local churches and even composed and performed some of her original Christian songs. In 2015 Naples Noteworthy wrote an article about Kaylyn Lewis and her music accomplishments within the years and what was to come. In 2016, Kaylyn Lewis performed her original songs at a local Florida college along with being featured in a Christian rap song called "Fly" by Tony Montana. FGCU (Florida Gulf Coast University) had offered Kaylyn to sing the national anthem to honor her country for basketball and baseball games held there but Kaylyn was in the process of moving to Colorado with her family at the time and was unable to accept the offer. One of her friends named Isaiah Pilkington would play the piano and guitar and the two of them would sit down and work on music together and made some beautiful creations. Kaylyn Lewis continues to work on her music and all of her work has gotten her two awards at the Indie Music Channel Awards that Is being held in Los Angeles in 2018. She is also is an awarde winner at the Akademia Music Awards held in Los Angelas as well this year, 2018. She won for one of her original songs called "Need you in my life" and another song that she recorded with another artist Lyssabelle who wrote the song "From now on".
