Bio:
Born in Denver, Colorado, and raised in Davenport, Iowa, Jordan has built his reputation for being a relentless performer able to bring any crowd to it's feet. He started out hosting Open Mic's in Davenport alone, and with his current band, The Great Space Coasters. Jordan and The Coaster's played for thousands when they headlined the 2009 Well's Fargo Festival. At one time he was hosting three Open Mic's a week, and just celebrated 10 years as host of his open mic at the Bierstube in The Village of East Davenport. In 2005, Jordan landed the job as the house act for Eagle Ridge Resort in the Beautiful tourist town of Galena, Illinois, an hour and a half from his home. He would play there every Friday and Saturday night, and often play afternoon gigs in downtown Galena. Jordan has been known to play 7 hours a day at times, often including three to four hour sets. Recently, Mr. Danielsen has been expanding his reach, by performing in new towns, and cities within a three hour radius of home, and has just released his first CD, "Night Alone In The City" with The Great Space Coasters as his backing band. Jordan also included a Horn section, starring Dr. Edgar Crockett on Trumpet, Jordan's college theory professor, and also his drum teacher, Terry Hanson on percussion. Jordan has been studying Music Theory at BlackHawk College in East Moline for the last two years. In the last 10 years Jordan has been performing three to four nights a week nonstop, and has opened for national Touring acts, G Love and Special Sauce, Tim Reynolds, Abalone Dots, and played guitar with Lissie in the 2008 River Roots Festival. Jordan plans to continue finding new towns to play in, and new ways to spread his music around the world. He hopes to see you at his next show!!
