Bio:
I’m Johnny Holliday, international jazz musician and performer, and I’m also known as Sergeant Holliday, an active duty member of the United States Air Force. I’m a man of many passions. As a kid, I dreamt of becoming one of the best trumpet players in the world. But I also was determined to serve my country as a member of the Armed Forces. So I did both. My Smooth and Latin jazz style on the trumpet, saxophone and vocals is a perfect fit with all the percolating rhythms here in Miami. I’ve released two popular albums with “Shine In Me” in 2007 and “In the Light” in 2010, and you can always find me performing at many major events throughout the Miami area as well as throughout the U.S. I’ve opened for Al Jarreau and other major artist at Miami Jazz in the Gardens at Sun Life Stadium, and I’ve performed the National Anthem at all the major professional sporting venues in the Miami area. My music has even taken me on a world tour of 14 countries and 44 states with the Tops-n-Blue, the Air Force’s premier show band, and many other great performance opportunities. I absolutely love both of my careers, which are made possible by the support of my beautiful wife and four children and also the Air Force.
