Harpaxe is the creation of Scottish hymn writer John David Coupland as a platform for his imstrumental music which is best described as Classical Gas meets the Shadows. John has found that using pseudonyms such as Harpaxe work better in the Google age than trying to cram several different genres into one artist's name. Future projects will include some well known classical pieces being given the same treatment as the current Birdsong album.
