Bio:: Playas Incorporated is a rap duo out of Abilene, TX featuring Mr. Maya (Joseph Cummings, 28) and Govinachi (Terrence Penns, 28). They have been working with eachother for most of their lives and consider themselves to be brothers. They started Playas Incorporated in 1996 and have continued to grow over the years. They started off with their first projects “P.I. Vol 1 & 2” they wrote, recorded, made the beats and created all the artwork on their own for the projects and started to make a name for themselves around Abilene. After performing around Abilene and getting to know some people they ended up connecting with Lecxs, CEO of Blaqman Records. He was interested in working with them and from then on the business relationship has grown. They released their first album with Blaqman Records called “Politician Grindin,” followed by other compilation albums on Blaqman “It’s A Dirty Game Vol. 1 &2” and also “Urban Myth.” Mr. Maya and Govinachi are the Co- COO’s of Blaqman Records, Maya takes care of the graphic design and production of music. While Nachi takes care of beats and marketing of Blaqman Records, among many other things.“Stogie Session” is the second album from Playas Incorporated on Blaqman Records. This is an album for the smokers out there, you just want to kick back, fade away with the music and light up a stogie! The album includes the hit “In Traffic,” also “Keys To The City” about their rise in Abilene, and “Beast” a song that the duo just explode on! Mr. Maya puts his solo skills on display in “Mind Blowin” while Nachi kills it on “Dig It Or Not.” Playas Incorporated are ready to change hip hop with “Stogie Session” so light one up and join them on the ride!
