Bio:: Front Heavy is a Tucson based all around rock band. We are a new band and made our appearance on the scene in the summer of 2010. The Tucson Weekly wrote, " Front Heavy specializes in anthemic, post-Pearl Jam alternative rock." We play up beat melodies, ambient mixed with crunchy rock sounds, while our front man Jamie “Entapryze” fills the room with a big bluesy voice that carries the lyrics of each song into the soul of the audience. The most remarkable facet of our well rounded group is the song writing, the songs are catchy and relatable; these original tunes stick in your head well after the show. The vision of Front Heavy was started by bassist and songwriter Jeff Cruz and his right hand man Joey “Pancakes” Perez. There are a few things that make our band stand out, our size is only one of those things; we are genuine and unpretentious and deliver a straight up rock sound along with clever lyrics that get the audience interested.
