Beecher’s Fault started in the summer of 2010 after Ben Taylor responded to Ken Lamken’s craigslist ad that read “Hey, anyone want to play some indie/alternative music in Morris County?”. Ben responded minutes after the ad was posted and they met that day. Right away they found out that they were on the exact same page with similar influences, writing style, and goal of starting a new band. After a few months of writing songs with each other, they knew that they needed a drummer. Meanwhile, Eric Levine had recently returned home to New Jersey after a failed band project ended in Tempe, AZ. He had posted videos of himself playing drums on youtube and put an ad on craigslist for “Drummer available”. The first person to answer the ad was Ken. After a brief audition, Ken and Ben invited Eric to play an open mic that night at a local bar. That night the three of them knew that this was “it”. The band then went into the studio to record their first EP. Six months later their debut self-titled EP was released, followed by the launch of their official website: www.beechersfault.com. The band continues to play bars and clubs all over New Jersey, New York City and upstate New York gaining more and more fans at every show they play. Be sure to check out their official website as well as their Myspace, Facebook, Youtube and Twitter pages to keep up to date with upcoming shows, new videos and everything Beecher’s Fault.
