The Way It Goes Sometimes…long for TWIGS, the founder of the group and genre he dubbed Dirty South Riff Rap. A hip-hop based sound sprinkled with influences from rock to reggae, punk to blues; 100% original from the bottom up. The music is flooded with nasty beats and sick raps about life in Florida. From deep and serious to hardcore party tracks. From summertime beach jams to rhymes making political statements. The Way It Goes Sometimes delivers a powerful sound that keeps heads nodding with beats that pound you in the chest and lyrics that smack you in the face. The Way It Goes Sometimes is a family of artists spawned originally from Twigs. After riding solo for a while Twigs decided it was time to branch out. He teamed up with guitar player/childhood friend, Eric “Lil Goat” Surprenant, where the music evolved into a whole new sound they call Dirty South Riff Rap. The group welcomes new talent and has several artists positioned to be new additions to the ever growing family tree dedicated to creating and performing refreshing, original music. The breakthrough debut album was recently released. The Way It Goes Sometimes: Volume I is available now on iTunes, Amazon, Zune, etc.
