Bio:: Hi We are Sons Of Encouragement, the name comes from the Bible from the name Barnabas meaning Son Of Encouragement. we called ourselves this as we needed a name and Ben (the drummer) spotted it in an RE exam in school but we are keeping the name as we all want a name that represents and shows our faith in God. were a young Pop Punk / Pop Rock band from Greenisland, Northern Ireland. We are all Christians in the band though we don't play Christian music, but we do try to make most of our songs have meaning to them, rather than pointless songs that mean nothing, but sometimes this fails and we write a bit of pointless and unpointless material but thats just part of the fun. The band has Been together since 2008 (when we were 15) but members have came and gone and our style has developed and in the summer of 2010, Sons Of Encouragement finally have decided on a permanent line up with their newly developed sound and this haven't sounded sweeter, so have a listen nd see what you think, thank you (:
