- elayed are an ever evolving punk rock band originally from Johannesburg, South Africa who are currently based in London, UK. With a humorous outlook on life which shines through in their energetic stage performance, Delayed maintain a lyrical content that any listener can easily relate to. "Their sound can only be described as accessible skate punk with catchy creative riffs and chorus lines that you find yourself singing in the shower, on the train or even while making sweet love" Keith Mckay (Chronic events and Management). Delayed are inspired by their lives, trials and tribulations, ups and downs, "highs" and lows and pretty much anything vaguely amusing. They have performed on many stages across South Africa and abroad and are necessary additions to any roster, line-up or party catering to the legions of punk rock fans across the world. The band’s EP entitled "Cold December" was recorded at the legendary Stakeout Studios in London.and received critical and commerical success upon release in 2009, gaining radio play and gigs around the country. The band entered the Studio again 2010 to work on there debut album "Addict" which is due for release in June 2011.
