Bio:
Welcome to Industriezone, a unique blend of Industrial,Metal, Electronics and more! Born during the fear and confusion of Y2K, the ‘millennium computer bug’ that was going to bring about world disaster and return society back into the Middle Ages, Industriezone had an nervous childhood. For C. Hall though, everything was just happening spontaneously and the first songs were already taking form. Attracting the attention of musician Hannes Sandrini, Hall knew he was onto something special, together they made experiments with brutal beats and riffs, packing them into the frequency spectrum wherever they could find space. After a demo release on a alternative label and some exciting material that would make most musicians cringe, Sandrini went on to start his own project, but Hall had only just got started! During his sound engineering apprenticeship his studio equipment expanded and noise production continued, the Industriezone studio was born. Tested with remixes of Rob Zombie, Nine Inch Nails (NIN), ASP and Terminatrix, a studio CD project began based on existing material. Only intended as a studio project, Industriezone was starting to attract attention in particular groups in and around Klagenfurt. Andie Leine and Valentina P., electronic artist and vocalist, were quickly integrated into Industrizone’s creative factory, subsequently providing some of the missing links to the arrangements , ‘Serial Lover’ and ‘Touch Me’. Moving forward though, Hall wanted people to hear his songs played live. Without hesitation a live setup was organised and the three of them performed their arrangements so far in a small club. The response to this concert was so positive, they knew they would soon form a complete live band. Head hunting for a drummer who would be able to transfer complex electronic beats onto real drums was not going to be easy, luckily Hall met Bunte and as a bonus also found the perfect rehearsal space for the band, right in the middle an industrial factory area! Bunte rose to the challenge and is now the pulsing, robotic, remote controlled heart beat at the centre of Industriezone. They were entering new and exciting territory, with a home for the band and all the creative talent, the set list was growing rapidly, rehearsals began to prepare for further live performances. During rehearsals for the live shows, Daniel Wagatai came in to play extra guitars but soon joined them as a permanent member, the final brick was in place in what would become a powerful live wall of sound! Live performances followed all over Austria, including support for internationally renowned German/American band KMFDM. OK, that’s the Industriezone story, but the music is impossible to put into words! Aside from normal convention, not fitting into any particular box, Industriezone stands alone, unique when compared to music styles of recent times Turn up the volume and discover Industriezone for yourself!
