- Music, Love, Faith, God. The four defining words that create the musician - and human - that is Bruce Oneal. Born in Savannah but residing in the Bay Area, Bruce is a songwriter, keyboardist, and vocalist whose inspirations come from near and far, from the everyday sights and sounds of city life to pondering the deeper meanings of the world. IInfluenced by gospel greats like the Mighty Clouds of Joy and classic rockers along the lines of Prince and Michael Jackson, Bruce’s carefully-crafted musical compositions can best be described under the genre of “global gospel,” a unique and personal approach to gospel music, with the goal of transcending all boundaries and ultimately making the Gospel more accessible and available to all.
