I've been coming up with my own lyrics since I learned how to spell. At the time I didn't have any beats to write over or anywhere to record it at but I wrote down stuff that sounded good and rhymed. So that's how I got started and that's where I get it from. As I grew up I seen my cousin recordin in his room and I wanted to know what he was doing and I wanted to do it. At the time all I knew was he was making music. When I got older I was goin to church and some of my friends wanted me to freestyle. I was nervous and shy at first but I gave it a try. They liked it and kept wanting me to do it and said I was good. That gave me confidence in what I was doin and made me want to do it more. One day I met one of my friends and we started a group. I rememeber the first song we recorded and we wanted to record so bad that we took two boom boxes and played the beat of one and recorded on a casset with the other. Didn't give us the best sound but we recorded our work. Later we found somebody who was in a rock band and who had toured who was willing to record a few songs with us. It sounded pretty good. Later me and my friend met someone else who also recorded us. The problem we kept running across was nobody wanted to put in as much work as we did and wanted to and could record as much as we did. I finally started recordin verses on my cousins songs. I met a producer and someone who was into music as strong as I wanted to be. I record a few tracks with him and he helped get me in a few shows. Now i finally have my own studio and working on my own music.
