Emerging from San Diego, California, Mad Traffic is a 5 piece rock band that appeals to pop fans and non-pop fans alike. The band was formed in May of 2008. Individually, the members of Mad Traffic have performed with Violent Femmes, Crucial, Hershel Abrams, High Tide, and Fred Benedetti. Their music is a mix of styles set into a high energy live performance. The band's latest album, Unreported, channels Blaise Guld's bouncy melodies with to-the-point singalongs to construct music that sticks in your head. With standout tracks like "Lost Time," Mad Traffic is an essential addition to any music lover's library and can be found on iTunes. In 2010, Mad Traffic took two 1st Place Battle of the Bands, was celebrated as local FM949 Member of the Day 2x, Recorded a Pyles Session and can be heard during the local shows on 91x, 94.9 and KPRI Radio. The words “Mad Traffic” have been mentioned on local NBC news broadcasts here in San Diego, also for benefit concerts sponsored by Liquid Foundation, Iraq Stars and Relay for Life. They performed for two Cancer Benefit Concerts at UCSD and are currently helping raise money to keep local school music programs going. With a style all their own, you’ll be singing MT songs after the show.
