Bio:: “I’ve always wanted to see what it would be like to take all my favorite music genres and mix them together, while tearing down borders and restrictions we set for ourselves. It just happens that we tried it… and oddly enough it worked better than we could’ve imagined.” – Kenneth Evans

On the Avenue is an Alternative Pop / Rap Rock group hailing from central Florida that was formed in October of 2013 by guitarist Kenneth Evans, and front men Stevie Jackson and Aaron Forte. After many years of working together in studios and collaborating on several projects, it was just a matter of time before a project like OTA was born. Today, the group consists of 5 members, and each musician adds their own unique style to the mix. Live performances from OTA are energy filled and sure to entertain.

OTA’s debut freshman album “Champion” was released January of 2014. This album showcased a large variety of what the group could do. From rock, rap, r&b, and pop, this album had it all. After a year of performing the album, OTA’s fan base started to grow, and it was clear they had something special.

“We inspire each other to make the music that we create. You can tell by looking at us that we’re not one dimensional, and we’re proud of that. We have literally taken musicians from different style backgrounds, put them in a room, and made something that shouldn’t work, work effortlessly. We want to change the idea of what music should be, and show the world what music can be. We think of ourselves as a family, and with our fans, we together make up the #OTAFAM.” – Aaron Forte

On the Avenue is comprised of Stevie Jackson (vocals/rapper), Aaron Forte (lead vocals), Kenneth Evans (guitar/vocals), Danny Ray Bowling (bass), and Lawrence Butler (drums).

The band has shared stages with the likes of Cage the Elephant, Bear Hands, Cisco Adler, and more. Performed at the 2014 Vans Warped tour, 2015 Red Gorilla Music fest in Austin, TX (SXSW), and won the 2014 Hard Rock Battle of the Bands for the Florida Region, and was named the #BuzzBand of year at the 2015 Florida Music Festival.
