Bio:: Brothers "Madd" Matt and Don "The Doctor" Prevost started playing music together as children and quickly progressed to a professional level. Both brothers are songwriters and play multiple instruments. In 1984 Matt formed Steel Horse Band with Lawrence Ingram. After twelve years and just before their debut performance on the popular Jenny Jones television show, the band split up. Heartbroken over the band’s dissolution Matt took some time off to write songs and spend time with his family. Meanwhile, Doc was pursuing his career with other musicians. In 1986 Bubba joined Doc in the rock band Phantom X. When this band split up Doc and Bubba joined Matt re-forming Steel Horse Band. Tracey first joined the band in 2003. In 2005 Steel Horse Band opened for country band Big and Rich in Clio, MI. Steel Horse Band has traveled across the United States performing at local bars, festivals, and fundraisers. In 2006 Steel Horse Band moved it’s headquarters to Andrews, Texas. In August of 2010 Steel Horse Band recorded their first cd at Jelly Roll Studios in Odessa, TX. The newly released cd, "life YOU choose", is available to hear and purchase on the Steel Horse Band website and at ReverbNation.
