Dancehall artist Paul Vurse was born on October 11 1988 as Paul Mark Emanuel Josephs. He grew up in Spanish Town but, later moved to Portmore, St.Catherine , Jamaica at age nine where he spent the rest of his child wood years. His love for music began at age twelve, when he was just in the 7th grade at Wolmer's boys High. Making and performing songs on the spot for class mates during his free period was what he was known for in high school. Dancehall was always his favourite genre of music; with a little transition of Hip-Hop and R&B. his song writing and composing skills are out of the ordinary. His high energy and commanding voice with razor sharp lyrics is what set him above the average artist and made him an instant success. The love of collaboration and working with other artists make him destine to become the world’s biggest cross over artist.
