Bio:
Stone Circle's rapid rise up the ladder of the nation's rock / adult alternative music scene has continued to amaze and excite both fans and the band itself.
It's not that surprising though when in just 2 short years this hard working professional band have performed over 250 live shows encompassing sold out shows in their home town on top of two tours to Australia's east coast performing in both Melbourne and Sydney.

The band's music is definitely catching ears and turning heads when in May 2011 after hearing their latest CD "Living for the Sunshine" a personal invitation was extended by Sir Bob Geldof and his management for Stone Circle to perform at Sydney’s Star City Casino's newest venue the "Rock Lilly Bar" for Bob’s Rock and Rebuild Charity Concert After Party.

Following up this stellar performance, Stone Circle performed with indie pop up & comers Amy Meredith at the 2012 Australia Day Celebrations at Langley Park Perth before booking up a schedule of shows for February and March 2012 including appearances with Shannon Noll, Baby Animals and You Am I.

Months after forming in July 2008, this power quartet from Perth, Western Australia have racked up some
serious support gigs including a performance at the after party for Def Leppard’s Australian tour in addition to appearing alongside the Galvatrons, End of Fashion, Birds of Tokyo, Gyroscope and Something With Numbers.

Refusing to be pigeonholed, they also display a diversity which has enabled them to support such iconic
Australian artists as Ian Moss, Daryl Braithwaite, Jon Stevens and Joe Camilleri in both live and unplugged acoustic formats.

Stone Circle's full length independent release ‘Living for the Sunshine’ was recorded in the first half of 2010 at Crank Recordings in Perth and mastered by Leon Zervos at Studios 301 in Sydney.

Stone Circle is a rock band. Their songs are powerful and melodic, drawn from a vast array of influences and genres. It’s the attitude, mentality and approach of artists like Queen, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Bon Jovi, Robbie Williams and U2 that drives and inspires them.

Live, Stone Circle are tight, passionate and energetic. Their enthusiasm is as contagious as their riffs and it is this foundation that sees Stone Circle consistently delivers larger than life performances to an ever growing
legion of fans.  It is these performances that have propelled Stone Circle into the popular consciousness, secured a second place in the coveted competition to support Bon Jovi, and have the band labeled ‘a true homage to the spirit of rock’ by Mix 94.5FM’s the Big Couch

2011 saw the official launch of ‘Living for the Sunshine’ followed by extensive touring and promotion throughout Australia and overseas. This continues into 2012 including Cuba, Columbia and Argentina.
