The Cat That Walks Alone aka Cameron Laing has played and wrote with a number of artists over the last couple of years including members of The Vaccines (Columbia), Hugo (Roc Nation) and The New Devices (Sony/RCA).The Debut single 'Evan's Throne/Love Will Always Come' released Aug '11 has already had numerous national plays on BBC Introducing, Amazing Tunes and featured on Jim Gellatly's In:Demand Uncut show (First DJ to play KT Tunstall, Biffy Clyro, Glasvegas, The Fratellis, Amy Macdonald...). The single showcases his ability as an artist in his own right bringing such diverse styles as Mumford and Sons, The Big Pink, Elliott Smith and The Jesus and Mary Chain in a kaleidoscopic sound of four-to-the-floor-folk and rock.
