20 year-old Olivia Faye is a Country/Pop singer/songwriter and actress who hails from Murray, Kentucky. As the youngest member of a family of music lovers and songwriters, it was determined early on that she was the only one who could carry a tune, thus, her beautiful vocals were the perfect way to combine singing and songwriting within the family. This talent quickly grew into a life transforming passion. Her musical stylings pay homage to many of the early icons of country music, blues and rock.
Olivia’s smooth, bluesy vocals have won her numerous invitations to perform throughout the music industry. She was the featured opener for Mark Chesnutt in 2014 and has performed recently in such places as Nashville’s Tootsie’s Lounge, The Bluebird Café, The Commodore, Maxwell House and famous Puckett’s Grocery of Leiper’s Fork, Tennessee. She has been invited on numerous occasions to perform in Hollywood at The Roxy and the House of Blues on Sunset Strip.
Olivia had a featured role in the 2012 film, Hello Herman, starring Norman Reedus (Walking Dead). The film takes a look into the mindset of a young man who is bullied and examines the tragedy that follows. Olivia had a lead role in the movie and additionally, wrote a lament style song entitled, “You Didn’t See Me” (aka, Herman’s Lament), about the main character. The song is featured on the soundtrack of the movie.
In the fall of 2011, Olivia was invited to perform on a seven-city, five-state “No Bully Tour,” featuring a mixture of talented young musicians from all over the United States hoping to send a strong anti-bullying message to teens. Upon completion of the tour, Olivia joined forces with Grammy Award nominated LA producers Alex Cantrall and Jeff Hoeppner of Radio Nation. With them, she has co-written and recorded numerous radio ready songs. She worked closely with Producer Mike Jones of Grinning Dog Productions until his passing last year.
When Olivia is not writing, performing, or recording in Nashville or Los Angeles, she loves to spend time in Kentucky with her family and sweet beagle, Bob Barker. She is an active in archery and other outdoor sports.
