- Born and raised in Texas, Lisa began playing guitar and writing songs when she was 16. Life took her many places and it wasn't until the late 90's she decided it was now or never. She picked up her guitar, taught herself to play and the songs just started flowing. Her lyrics tell stories of her life, lost loves and the world around her. When she writes she tries to paint a picture in the listener's mind. She performs regularly around the DFW area at festivals, coffee houses, restaurants and clubs solo and with her trio Twist of Fate. She has one co-produced CD called Shootin' Star that is a compilation of songs recorded at various studios around Dallas.
