 . They play music from centuries ago on up to present day and lots of 
 originals. Influenced by Johnny Cash and June Carter, Patsy Cline and 
 Hank Williams,.... They have recently released there new 19 song CD, \
 "Le Cat Tales\" with original and traditional songs. They have a heart
  felt love for folk music and try to add a touch of yesterday with som
 e modern sounds of today, Recently featured on the Knoxville 24 hours 
 film festival CD, they have a unique blend of vocals that will leave y
 ou smiling and ready to get up and dance. The duo play guitar, banjo, 
 bass fiddle, bass guitar, and mandolin.They have also performed at the
  Hoot in the Hollar Benefit for Cystic Fibrosis on June 4, 2011 and al
 so on June 11, 2011 at the Vienna Coffeehouse in Maryville, TN at 7pm.
  The Katts were featured in the Daily Times Weekend Section in June, 2
 011. A guest of Glenn Spayth at the 7m and the Bistro and the Bijou. A
 ttended Singer songwriter night at The Parlor in Knoxville, TN hosted 
 by Johnathan Manness. Performed at the Main Street Festival in Morrist
 own on July 22, 2011. September 2011 shows are: Acoustic Coffeehouse i
 n Johnson City Tennessee on September 8, 2011, and The Concord Fall Fe
