Bio:: HE IS BEING CALLED THE NEW VOICE OF SENSUAL SOUL though in actuality he isn't new at all. Signed to his first record deal in 1998, Leonard Dozier has been quietly and gradually gaining steam. With a buttery, melting baritone that is reminiscent of a mix of Luther Vandross, Will Downing, Teddy Pendergrass and Barry White, his honest writing and vocal tastes give him sound and style that is unmistakeably his own. His latest effort "Vitamin L" (from his own Cineplay Productions/Urban Smooth Entertainment)is poised to make in impact in an adult contemporary scene that has faded. The 32 year-old brings a polished, distinction to the current R&B scene and the buzz has already developed. A prolific and accomplished actor as well, he recently starred in the docudrama "Apostle of Freedom," which was watched by more than 3 million people around the world. Also, recently he just became the voice of Boomtown Casino in Louisiana. Next year, he will star in a musical about the life of Luther Vandross.
