Bio:
Kurt Shore began writing songs at the age of 12, was professionally recording at the age of 15, and was offered a recording contract at the age of 19 by a subsidiary of ABC/Dunhill, New London Records. As the lead singer, keyboardist and songwriter of the duo, Dialogue, the album was released with the lead song, “Think Father, Think” that began to climb the charts when the label went defunct. Dialogue then toured the college circuit for three years delighting audiences with what was considered one of the most innovative multi-media shows of the time combining pop songs with theater, comedy, original films, and classical music. Shore broke away from Dialogue to open Kajem Studios in 1977. The studio went on to become one of the East Coast’s premier recording studios, as well as a hub of development for some of Philadelphia’s most successful rock and pop acts such as Cinderella and Pretty Poison. Shore produced, co-engineered, and arranged the Top 5 Billboard hit, “Catch Me, I’m Falling” by Pretty Poison, as well as other songs on their hit album. Shore also wrote several award winning jingles for Philadelphia-based ad agencies during the 80’s for Kajem subsidiary, Adio Productions. In the early 90’s, Shore left Kajem to become a partner in advertising agency, D4 Creative Group. The agency has produced hundreds of campaigns including TV and radio spots for their clients, which includes Comcast, Time Warner Cable, TV Guide, etc. While co-managing the growth of the agency and as chief creative officer, Shore also wrote and scored most of the agencies work.
