Bio:
James Gray, Jr., better known as Scoog, is a rapper and entrepreneur. He hails from New Orleans, LA. He grew up partly in what is known as the 7th ward and 9th ward parts of the city, Lacombe, Louisiana, and the popular New Orleans East. Scoog started rapping at the tender age of 12. He recorded his first original song at the age of 15. Scoog attended Southern University in New Orleans but he was forced to transfer when Hurricane Katrina demolished New Orleans and other southern cities in 2005. He relocated to the Bay Area, where he continued his education and graduated from California State University, East Bay with a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts. He also continued to draw attention with his unique southern flow. Scoog is also known for his drive, ambition, and persistence. In 2008 Scoog founded the company Gray Line Entertainment. After working with several underground artists in New Orleans, the Bay Area, Los Angeles, and Atlanta, Scoog has earned the respect as one of the most talented underground artist to emerge.
