In 2008, Austin’s own Deejer released “Dark Summer Dawn.” It was produced by Mark Dufour (Ghostland Observatory, Blue October). It received specialty rotation on KLBJ, KISS, and KXTE. They also showcased at the 2008 Amplify Music Festival in Las Vegas and inked endorsements with Traben Bass Company and Michael Kelly Guitars. In 2009 Deejer changed their name to Dark Summer Dawn, and in 2010 released a music video for the song “Red Ink” featuring LA model Trisha Lurie. Currently, they are recording with producer Todd “Taz” Osterhouse.
