Bethany Caudill has lived in Ava, MO most of her life. She was born in Springfield, MO at Burge Hospital 5-1-59, an only child. She lived in Moorpark, CA a few years as a young child and also Reed Springs, MO.


Bethany started playing guitar by ear at age 12. Her father taught her to play. She grew up singing in church at age 8. She sang in High School in mixed choir several years as an alto, and she was chosen to sing at her high school graduation in a sextet as an alto. She first placed in a singing competition at the local fair, where she got 2nd next to a band. She has sung in fairs, festivals, many contests, churches, and special events, all around Missouri, Oklahoma, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Iowa.


Bethany sang with a bluegrass gospel group called Lights of Home for 3 years. They sang at Silver Dollar City, Mutton Hollow every year and also churches and bluegrass festivals. Bethany sang lead and harmony. The group was also on Marshfield, MO radio line, on an MDA telethon on local TV channel 10, and made a cd. In 1979 she was on Garry White's midnight opry local TV show channel 27 twice. She sang in 3 Branson music shows from 1992 until 1995, Elvis and the Superstars, Patsy and Friends, and Hank and Friends. She sang backup to other singers as well as doing impersonation as Wynonna Judd. Dee Dee Hamilton (formally with the Platters 25 years) told her she sings with soul. She sang at the Owens Theatre which is the first and oldest Theatre in Branson and located downtown. She auditioned in Nashville to be a Wynonna Judd impersonator for Once Upon A Party and got the job.


She loves to sing classic rock, classic country, blues, bluegrass and gospel. She has been interviewed on Ava's radio, Marshfield radio, 1380 Extreme radio in St. Louis, Riot radio in Marysville, IL, KTRS radio, blog talk radio, Greater Good Ministry radio online, Marquis Stewart TV show in St. Louis, Alisha on podcast in St. Louis, as well as by newspapers in Ava, MO, Fort Scott, KS, and Alton, IL.


She has helped in many benefits including Relay for Life, Mustang Sanctuary in Alton, IL, cancer benefits in Ava and St. Louis, Newborns in Need, and Breast cancer and cancer events and polo match in St. Louis where she sang the National Anthem. She put together an auction and pie supper to help her aunt who had brain cancer and no insurance.


She has 5 songs (originals) she wrote that are on iTunes for sale. She also has other cover cd's, glow-in-the-dark guitar picks and autograph pictures for sale. She made 5 music videos in St. Louis, MO. Her songs are on iTunes, Youtube, and at Reverbnation.com/bethanycaudill.


Bethany was married to Rick Schroeder for 10 years. They dated 5 years before marrying. She has 3 kids and 3 grandkids. She graduated in 1977 from Ava High School, then worked in Rawlings Sporting Goods for 15 1/2 years with baseball and football equipment and uniforms. She worked at McDonald's in Ava 3 years cooking; at Copeland Factory making scrolls for air conditioners for 5 years; in Ozark 2 years with electric motors; and 1 year at Silver Dollar City in transportation and parking. She now works at Walmart going on 11 years. 7 were in the deli and now she's a cashier. She has also been a school bus driver 4 years for Skyline School, 2 years for Ava schools, and 1 year for Thornfield, MO schools. She took her bus training at Norwood, MO schools.


Now that her kids are grown she is pursuing her singing career. She has been auditioning for the Voice, America's Got Talent, and singing at the Kentucky Opry.
