Bio:: I am iotronica, The Music Project... http://twitter.com/iotronica http://www.facebook.com/pages/Iotronica/133158176734440 The iotronica Music Project, is Amanda Byrne from Cornwall, UK. Influenced by music from her early childhood by musicians such as Kraftwerk, Jean Michel Jarre and many electronic bands of the 70s and 80s, she brought her first synthesizer at age 17. But after joining a band as a synth player, she accidentally became the main vocalist! After relocating to Cornwall in 1990, music, sadly became a distant memory which has always been a regret. In 2010, after an inspiring dream about Io, in which she dreamed of sounds and colours that had never been heard on Earth, Amanda decided to take up music again and taught herself how to use music software on a computer. She soon began composing and it was in April 2011 that she composed the piece, "Destination Io", a tribute to the dream that woke her muse the year before. Amanda's aim is to take the listener on a journey with her sounds, conjour up imagery and stir emotion. Music is such a powerful force and iotronica strives to create the energy to drive it.
